Revelations 3:15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
Every time I read this verse I wonder if God is spitting me out of His mouth. Am I hot? Cold? Lukewarm?
Today we are surrounded by many people who call themselves Christians. They may go to church, they may not. They are usually more concerned with appearances than cleaning up the mess inside of themselves. These mediocre Christians focus on parties, relationships with friends and material possessions rather than their relationship with God.
Bussyness has allowed them to believe that what they're doing is important. Instead of God being their #1 priority they replace it with family because then the world will surely not fault them.
The bottom line is if you want to please the world keep living the way you live, I'm sure they are saying "good job" but if you want more for your life than a fan club with Satan as it's secret president then stop lying to yourself and get your #1 priority back were it needs to be.
